Privacy Policy

GlowPic (“the app”) is a photo-editing app provided by GlowPic Labs (“we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the app processes and why. By using GlowPic you agree to this policy.

1. Information the app processes

• Photos and media you choose. When you pick or capture a photo, the app loads it so you can edit it. Edited copies and your recent edits are stored only on your device.
• AI feature uploads. AI Enhance and SuperScale cannot run on a phone, so when you use them the selected photo is sent to our AI processing provider (Replicate) to generate the result, which is then downloaded back to your device. We do not use your photos to train AI models.
• Advertising data. GlowPic is free and funded entirely by ads. We show a banner on the home screen and a short rewarded video before you save a photo. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which collects device and advertising identifiers to deliver and measure them. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings, and you can withdraw or change your ad-personalisation consent from Settings → Privacy options where that option is shown.
• Support messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write.

We do not ask for your name, we have no login, and we do not collect your contacts, precise location, or browsing history.

2. How we use information

• To provide and operate the photo-editing features.
• To serve and measure the ads that fund the app.
• To respond to your support requests.

3. On-device vs. cloud processing

Studio Enhance, Beauty, Filters, Background tools, Adjust, Crop and Text run fully on your device — those photos never leave your phone. AI Enhance and SuperScale require cloud processing and send the image to our provider, as described in Section 4.

4. Third-party services

• Replicate — runs the AI models behind AI Enhance and SuperScale. Images submitted to those features are processed on Replicate’s servers. See the Replicate Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob (and its mediation partners, including AppLovin) — serves the banner and rewarded ads and collects device / advertising identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. See the Google Privacy Policy.

We share information with these providers only as needed to run the app. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

• Photos you import, your edits and your recent-edit history are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in your device settings, removes them.
• Images sent for AI processing are used to produce your result and are not retained by us; the processing provider may keep them briefly under its own policy.

6. Your choices

• You choose which photos to open and which AI features to use.
• You can clear the app’s data or uninstall the app at any time to remove local data.
• You can reset or limit your device’s advertising/analytics identifier in your device settings. Where the applicable consent framework requires it, the app also offers Settings → Privacy options so you can review or withdraw your ad-personalisation choices at any time.

7. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, and network requests use encrypted (HTTPS) connections. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Children

GlowPic is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
